For those of you who remember, last year on January 29th, we hosted a 5K Leukemia walk for a little boy named Gage Churchill. He was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was only 14 months old, almost lost his life, received many months of chemotherapy, and is now doing very well with his treatment thanks to all of you who came to support him. We raised $2,000.00 for the L.L.S (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and $4,000.00 for Gage and his family. This year we hope to not only repeat our success but hopefully DOUBLE IT!

We're doing everything we can to help him and his family get through this tough period in time. There is exactly 52 Saturdays in 2012, all that we're asking is that you PLEASE spend one of those Saturdays to HELP save a little boys life.

You can make your donation in person at the event or by mailing a check to 625 S. Palm St. STE D La Habra, CA 90631. Checks should be made out to Renowned Events Care Foundation.

We are now supporting a little boy named Brayden Keith McDermott. Brayden was diagnosed on November 6, 2009 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This amazing little boy has been hospitalized about 25 times in the past 2 years and has endured weekly chemo, spinal taps, and countless needles drawing his blood. Many kids in this situation don't have a clue as to how they should act. They are simply waiting for the next good news or the next complication in their treatment... always worried and scared for thier life. Brayden on the other hand is always a positive little boy, he is extremely close to all his doctors and nurses, and loves them as if they were family. Imagine being a in a family who had to live with the fear of losing a loved one? Imagine going to bed not knowing if you're going to wake up without a mom, or a dad, a brother or a sister, or in this case... a child. Brayden's mother, Chantel, is a single mother and doing everything in her power to give her son a better life. She lives with her four kids Madison (7), Brayden (4), McKenzie (2), and Maycee (18 months). She spends her time with them as a "stay-at-home" mother when she is not rushing her baby boy to the hospital. She is always devoting her time with her children to raise them with a solid foundation of selflessness and good morals, despite the hardships they are always facing. This family has had many scares when it comes to Brayden's treatment, with complications such as extremely low blood counts, a catheter tube getting lodged in his heart, and abnormal abscesses having to be removed. Despite all this, he is a happy, very silly, and extremely loving little boy.

This story has definitely touched our hearts and has made us even more determined to make a difference in the fight to end childhood Leukemia. Please help us, and all the children fighting Leukemia by attending our 5K walk on February 4th 2012. We ask that you contact us in order to pick up a donation sheet from our house, one of the local high schools, or even print it out online! We require everyone walking to raise a minimum of $20.00 in donations but we encourage every person to bring in as many donations as possible! To thank you for all of your hard work we will be giving a raffle ticket for every $10.00 raised or every $10.00 donated the day-of the event. We will have over 30 raffle prizes available for you to win. We will also have drinks, food, snacks, and much more available the day of! DJ Whiteboy will be mixing all day along with Renowned Events who are graciously sponsoring this event as the launch of the Renowned Events Care Foundation.
